NonStopDontStop ("we," "us," or "our") builds and operates NSDS Monitoring, a wireless environmental monitoring platform, and the NSDS View And Alert mobile app that accompanies it. This policy explains what information we collect through nonstopdontstop.com, nsdsmonitor.com, and the NSDS View And Alert app, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an NSDS View And Alert account, we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
Sensor and device data. The app and dashboard handle the environmental data your NSDS hardware reports: temperature and other sensor readings, device and gateway identifiers, battery status, alert threshold settings, and timestamps. This data is tied to your account so you can view current conditions and historical trends.
Push notification token. To deliver alert notifications to your phone, the app registers a device push token with Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging service. This token identifies your device for notification delivery only.
Diagnostic and usage data. We collect basic technical information — app version, device model, operating system version, and crash/error logs — to keep the app stable and fix bugs.
We do not collect precise location data, and we do not use advertising identifiers or third-party ad networks.
How We Use Information
- Provide and maintain your NSDS Monitoring account and dashboard
- Deliver real-time alerts by push notification, email, or text message when your sensors report conditions outside your configured thresholds
- Display current readings and historical trend data for your monitored locations
- Diagnose technical issues and improve the reliability of the app and platform
- Respond to support requests
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that help us run NSDS Monitoring, including cloud hosting providers, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (for push notifications), and email or SMS delivery vendors used to send alerts. These providers may only use your data to perform services on our behalf. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of NonStopDontStop, our customers, or others.
Data Retention
We retain account and sensor data for as long as your account is active, so historical charts and trend reporting remain useful. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain limited records for legal or security purposes.
Your Choices & Rights
You can review and update your account information in the app, disable push notifications through your device's notification settings, and request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us below.
Children's Privacy
NSDS View And Alert and NSDS Monitoring are business and property monitoring tools not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted data transmission and access controls, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the app or website.
